About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver education and training to healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers regarding designated treatments
- Work in accordance with standards and codes of practice set by relevant professional bodies
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with local and national data protection requirements
- Implement programme processes within potential healthcare sites and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Communicate programme aims and objectives clearly to healthcare services and local stakeholders
- Provide tailored patient training and support/mentor less experienced Nurse Advisors
- Complete mandatory Adverse Event and Product Complaint training and report occurrences as required
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of post-registration experience
- Clinical competence in the relevant disease area (or willingness to develop competence through training)
- Sound understanding of clinical principles, theories, and concepts relevant to the disease area
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage workload independently
- Confident communication skills to establish positive working relationships
- Must hold the right to work in Ireland
