Nuclear Welder

Responsibilities

• Execute all welding operations to manufacture parts according to specific shapes and requirements
• Apply and respect prevention plans, work permits, and operating procedures
• Implement appropriate operating ranges in accordance with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) using ARC, TIG, and other methods
• Control and validate the conformity of preparations and welding parameters
• Monitor welding equipment and filler metals to ensure validity and safety
• Detect and anticipate potential metal deformation risks
• Perform visual quality controls on completed welds and ensure full traceability
• Conduct disassembly, marking, cleaning, and reassembly of parts
• Use metrology tools to verify the conformity of parts and work quality
• Complete intervention documentation including dimension reports and work authorizations

Requirements

• Significant experience in industrial and/or nuclear environments
• CAP or Bac Pro in metalwork/welding (Chaudronnerie Métallerie) or equivalent
• Valid welding licenses for TIG, stainless steel, and carbon steel
• Strong knowledge of industrial and nuclear safety standards
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team
• Willingness to work in "Grand Déplacements" (frequent travel/on-site assignments)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or specific certifications in the nuclear sector (Nuclear Authorizations/Habilitations)
