Nuclear Welder

Responsibilities

• Use tools such as grinders, tungsten sharpeners, and TIG/Shielded Metal Arc welding equipment
• Work primarily on carbon steel and stainless steel
• Analyze manufacturing files including materials, specific constraints, and control requirements
• Prepare workstations with filler metal, gas, tools, and machine settings
• Implement and master welding processes in accordance with plans, DMOS, and nuclear requirements
• Perform visual inspections, ensure traceability, and maintain documentary compliance
• Strictly apply nuclear safety instructions and wear required PPE

Requirements

• Technical training and initial industrial welding experience
• Proficiency in TIG 111 - 141 welding processes
• Mastery of carbon steel and stainless steel
• Ability to read isometric drawings
• Ability to perform TIG 141 welding in both workshop and site environments
• Skills in polishing, visual inspection, and part assembly
• Rigor and ability to work in demanding technical/nuclear environments
