About the role
Responsibilities
- Write and update technical acceptance specifications for waste packages
- Analyze regulatory and technical evolutions impacting acceptance criteria
- Review technical dossiers submitted by producers
- Verify package compliance with applicable requirements
- Identify discrepancies and request necessary additional information
- Draft technical opinions for acceptance or refusal
- Ensure full traceability of all performed analyses
- Study specific requests within the framework of existing authorizations
- Participate in technical exchanges with producers and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Engineering degree specialized in nuclear waste
- Minimum 2 years of experience or significant internship experience (e.g., at ANDRA, CEA, or within a nuclear power plant)
- Strong knowledge of radioactive waste streams and treatment/packaging methods
- Proficiency with ANDRA specifications
- Expertise in waste inventory and characterization
- Ability to manage and resolve technical discrepancies
