Nuclear Technology, Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the lifecycle of nuclear facilities
• Conduct site investigations, environmental impact assessments, and design/safety evaluations
• Develop strategies for waste management and monitor decommissioning processes
• Ensure compliance with national and international regulations and standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to support decision-making processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in nuclear engineering, nuclear physics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in the nuclear industry
• Knowledge of nuclear engineering principles and radiation protection techniques
• Experience with safety analysis, risk assessment, and project management in the nuclear sector
• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation/modeling tools
• Strong technical writing and reporting skills
• Understanding of nuclear power plant operations, radiation safety, and waste management
• Experience with environmental impact assessments and decommissioning processes
• Relevant certifications in radiation protection and nuclear safety
• Willingness to travel for on-site assessments and consultations
