About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform safety analyses for nuclear waste package projects, ensuring the consistency of technical hypotheses and data.
- Contribute to the development, update, and consolidation of safety files, including technical notes, risk analyses, and regulatory justifications.
- Provide transverse support to project teams to integrate safety requirements from the early stages and support technical choices.
- Ensure compliance of studies and proposed solutions with applicable site safety frameworks and current regulatory requirements.
- Participate in technical reviews and internal exchanges, as well as interactions with external stakeholders on safety topics.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety practices through gap analysis, feedback, and the proposal of corrective actions.
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in nuclear engineering, nuclear safety, or an equivalent field.
- Significant professional experience working within nuclear environments.
- Knowledge of issues related to radioactive waste packages and storage is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical skills and high level of rigor.
- Excellent technical writing skills and ability to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
