About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the compliance of mechanical-welded equipment and constructions with technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Promote and instill a strong nuclear safety culture across all sites.
  • Supervise material compliance and verify the qualifications of workers, including welders, pipefitters, and inspectors.
  • Monitor technical activity compliance and manage non-conformities within the ERP system.
  • Validate Work Execution Files (DRT) and final reports (RFI, RFF) prior to transmission to EDF.
  • Oversee subcontractors and manage the calibration of measuring and monitoring equipment (ECME).
  • Analyze performance indicators and control data to propose appropriate corrective actions.
  • Manage the proper storage conditions for welding consumables and radioactive films.

Requirements

  • Bac+2 to Bac+3 degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Previous experience in piping preparation or quality control within nuclear power plants (CNPE) or basic nuclear installations (INB).
  • Strong technical knowledge of piping, welding, and quality control processes.
  • Proficiency with EDF standards and familiarity with EN 13480, EN 13445, and RCCM regulations.
  • Ability to work in a role involving frequent travel ("grands déplacements") across various nuclear sites.
  • Highly observant, organized, and communicative with a rigorous approach to safety.
  • Certifications such as PT2, VTI2, or RT2 are highly valued.
