Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine and PET-CT procedures
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
• Operate sophisticated imaging equipment
• Maintain detailed patient records
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols
• Contribute to department quality assurance processes

Requirements

• Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent qualification
• Current registration with the HCPC
• Significant experience in nuclear medicine and PET-CT imaging
• Proficiency in radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration
• Knowledge of radiation safety and best practices
• Strong technical skills in operating nuclear medicine and PET-CT equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
