Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures to ensure accurate and high-quality diagnostic images
• Work closely with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort and safety
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Participate in continuous professional development

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Relevant degree or equivalent in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably at Band 8a level
• Strong knowledge of SPECT-CT imaging techniques, ideally within a Cardiac setting
• Up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety regulations
• Proficiency in using nuclear medicine imaging equipment and software
