Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform SPECT-CT procedures with a strong emphasis on cardiac imaging
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure accurate data acquisition
• Maintain detailed patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for diagnosis and treatment planning
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to radiation protection standards

Requirements

• BSc in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent
• HCPC registration
• Significant experience in SPECT-CT imaging
• Proven competence in cardiac nuclear medicine scans
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and quality assurance protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
