About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care and administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Perform and monitor imaging procedures using gamma cameras and PET-CT scanners
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards
- Supervise other technologists and support staff
- Conduct quality control on equipment and maintain accurate records
- Respond to emergencies and provide lifesaving first aid when necessary
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Nuclear Medicine or Radiography
- HCPC registration as a Radiographer or Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Minimum 1-2 years post-qualification experience in Nuclear Medicine
- Proficiency with gamma cameras, PET-CT scanners, and radiopharmaceuticals
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead junior staff
