About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine and DEXA imaging procedures
- Operate advanced imaging equipment including PET/CT and DEXA scanners
- Ensure accurate and high-quality images while adhering to safety protocols
- Interpret imaging results and provide patient care
- Work closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations
Requirements
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Current HCPC registration
- Postgraduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine and/or DEXA scanning
- At least 3 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine or DEXA Radiographer
- Proficiency in operating Nuclear Medicine and DEXA equipment
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols
