About the Company

Antares is on a mission to make clean energy abundant from Earth to the Asteroid Belt. The team is building mass-producible, inherently safe, deployable microreactors for terrestrial, underwater, and space applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with neutronics modeling and simulations using MCNP, Serpent, or SCALE
• Support Multiphysics analyses including thermal-hydraulics, heat transfer, and structural mechanics
• Participate in experimental validation of simulation results
• Collaborate with senior engineers on iterative design tasks
• Contribute to documentation and regulatory reporting
• Participate in hardware demonstrations and prototype testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related technical field
• Familiarity with neutron transport software such as MCNP, Serpent, or SCALE
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Python or similar programming languages
• Coursework or internships involving Multiphysics modeling
• Interest or experience in microreactors, heat pipe cooled reactors, or advanced reactors
• Experience in fast-paced project environments
