About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze specifications and requirements to design automation systems
- Write technical specifications and test documentation
- Develop and configure automation programs using Schneider M580 and TSX Premium environments
- Perform unit, integration, and acceptance tests to validate program compliance
- Simulate and validate normal and degraded operating scenarios
- Write test reports, qualification procedures, and acceptance files
- Participate in on-site testing and commissioning within nuclear environments
Requirements
- Engineering degree in automation, electronics, or industrial computing, or a BTS degree
- Ability to work in highly regulated environments with strict quality and safety procedures
- Strong sense of responsibility due to the criticality of installations
- Good communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation
- Experience in regulated sectors such as nuclear, defense, or aeronautics
- Knowledge of SMC 600, 5000/7000 series, Bailey, or Delta V
- Familiarity with industrial network protocols (Ethernet, TCP-IP, JBUS, JNET)
- Experience with supervision tools like Panorama E2 or PCVue
