N&T Network Designer

Responsibilities

• Elaborate N&T Backbone Transmission Network (BTN) design specifications, including Preliminary and Detailed Design, in line with engineering rules.
• Develop BTN requirements with a focus on dimensioning, specifically for IP-MPLS networks and cybersecurity.
• Minimize deployment costs, lead times, and risks through efficient network design.
• Support functional validation, troubleshooting tasks, and technical room surveys.
• Prepare and execute design reviews and manage technical gaps.
• Collaborate with installation, cybersecurity, and power expert teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration.

Requirements

• BE/Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in network design.
• Proven expertise in IP-MPLS solutions.
• Experience in LAN/WAN design and GbEthernet deployment.
• Strong knowledge of RFC protocols, IP routing, QoS, and cybersecurity (802.1x, Radius, Firewall).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, traffic analysis, and general IP techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNP or CCIE certification (or equivalent).
• Experience with Nokia/Alcatel-Lucent IP-MPLS portfolio.
• Experience with fiber deployments and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of major telco suppliers such as Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei.
