N&T Network Designer

Responsibilities

• Cooperate during the bidding and tendering phase for network and telecommunication solutions
• Develop telecommunication implementation concepts and prepare project documentation, including network connection diagrams and system network plans
• Design and implement modern transmission systems using MPLS-TP and IP/MPLS technologies
• Select network devices based on project requirements and standards
• Perform configuration and testing of network devices in laboratory environments
• Participate in final on-site commissioning of devices and systems
• Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and the PKP PLK Telecommunications Office
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity requirements and manage network addressing

Requirements

• Higher technical education in telecommunications, electronics, computer science, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in network solution design or network device configuration
• Practical knowledge of networking concepts, including topologies, routing, and redundancy
• Ability to read and interpret network connection diagrams
• Experience working with CAD environments
• Category B driving license
• Willingness to work on-site for testing and commissioning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure or system projects
• Knowledge of railway environments or other critical systems
