NPI Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful development of new products from staging through mass production
• Act as a central coordinator across PMO, Development Engineering, Manufacturing, SCM, Quality, and Factory
• Manage development schedules, prototype planning, and execution to ensure timely market delivery
• Oversee product specifications, development policies, and certification plans
• Drive DX (Digital Transformation) for business processes and lead new system implementations
• Track NPI build status, progress, and resolve manufacturing process issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field
• 8–14+ years of experience in NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management, or Operations
• Proven experience leading cross-functional and global teams
• Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes
• Business level English proficiency
• Native level Japanese proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume manufacturing or complex electromechanical products
• Experience working with global manufacturing sites and suppliers
• Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent)
• Experience in cost modeling, should-cost analysis, or value engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business (MBA)
