Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field, Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment, Comfortable communicating with engineers and stakeholders across functions and levels, Proficient in productivity and project tracking tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Jira, or Smartsheet, Eagerness to learn hardware development processes, NPI fundamentals, and program management practices, Prior coursework or internship exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or product development, Familiarity with hardware development concepts such as BOMs, ECOs, or build cycles

About the role
Responsibilities
- Support planning and coordination of engineering builds (EVT, DVT, PVT), including tracking parts availability, BOM alignment, and build readiness
- Maintain build trackers, action item logs, and status dashboards to keep teams aligned and on schedule
- Attend engineering and build readiness reviews, capturing notes, open actions, and key decisions
- Track build issues and follow up on defect closure across hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics across internal teams, contract manufacturers, and lab facilities
- Assist with documentation, process improvements, and ad hoc operational tasks for the NPI team
Requirements
