NPI Production Planner II

Responsibilities

• Perform all required NPI activities to support product launch, including cost analysis, BOM development, and ensuring material availability.
• Identify and maintain mid- and long-term production plans for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods using MRP.
• Establish and maintain finite production schedules to ensure work orders are sequenced for on-time delivery.
• Monitor plant capacities and constraints, proactively rectifying bottleneck areas to prevent delays.
• Generate weekly and monthly scheduling metrics to measure performance and recommend process improvements.
• Manage product lifecycle projects for new and discontinuing products to minimize scrap through cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Supply Management, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in planning and scheduling within a LEAN Manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience working with an ERP system (SAP experience is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Thorough understanding of Routings and Bills of Material (BOM).

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS CPIM certification.
