About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update material requirements (MRP) data as build plans change, translating schedules into clear part-level demand
- Track parts, long-lead items, and bill of materials while monitoring inventory levels
- Flag shortages and at-risk parts early and help expedite critical materials to keep builds on schedule
- Partner daily with engineering, procurement, production, and receiving to reconcile planned versus actual arrivals and consumption
- Maintain accurate item, supplier, and lead-time data in the ERP/MRP system
- Build simple reports and dashboards (shortage lists, open-PO status, plan vs. actuals)
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate in supply chain, industrial/manufacturing engineering, operations, or a related field
- Spreadsheet experience (Excel/Sheets) and comfort working with data; ERP/MRP exposure is a plus
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a drive to reconcile discrepancies
- Clear communicator who can coordinate across engineering, procurement, and production
- Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change; able to re-prioritize as the build plan shifts
- Interest in hardware manufacturing, batteries, clean energy, or domestic supply chain
