About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update material requirements (MRP) data as build plans change, translating schedules into clear part-level demand
  • Track parts, long-lead items, and bill of materials while monitoring inventory levels
  • Flag shortages and at-risk parts early and help expedite critical materials to keep builds on schedule
  • Partner daily with engineering, procurement, production, and receiving to reconcile planned versus actual arrivals and consumption
  • Maintain accurate item, supplier, and lead-time data in the ERP/MRP system
  • Build simple reports and dashboards (shortage lists, open-PO status, plan vs. actuals)

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate in supply chain, industrial/manufacturing engineering, operations, or a related field
  • Spreadsheet experience (Excel/Sheets) and comfort working with data; ERP/MRP exposure is a plus
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a drive to reconcile discrepancies
  • Clear communicator who can coordinate across engineering, procurement, and production
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change; able to re-prioritize as the build plan shifts
  • Interest in hardware manufacturing, batteries, clean energy, or domestic supply chain
