NPI L2-0 Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the validation and industrialization of NPI models, overseeing the technical transition from design to production.
• Coordinate NPI industrialization gates (Gate 2-1 and 1-0) and ensure all quality gates, such as design freeze and tooling readiness, are met.
• Create and maintain routing sheets, process flow definitions, and standard work instructions (WI) for operators and technicians.
• Participate in the early design phase to evaluate manufacturing feasibility, identify risks, and analyze industrialization costs.
• Define and communicate requirements for necessary jigs and equipment to the design team.
• Maintain autonomous relationships with various departments including the Technical Office, Toolshop, Quality, and APQP.
• Ensure compliance with local and group policies, ISO certifications, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering.
• Proven knowledge of manufacturing techniques including injection molding, metal, machining, and assembly.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical 2D drawings; 3D CAD modeling knowledge is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency with SAP systems.
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective internal and external coordination.
