NPI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing NPI/EPE processes
• Release BOM and new parts through ECO
• Analyze end-to-end manufacturing capacity and assist in future planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop CM ability for prototyping and volume production
• Work with factory and engineering teams to troubleshoot failures
• Help define manufacturing processes including NPI, product engineering, validation, and quality

Requirements

• Strong understanding of high-tech manufacturing processes and NPI activities
• Experience working with off-shore contract manufacturers
• Track record of launching complex electronics products
• Ability to analyze manufacturing test data
• Experience with DFM, DFT, and DFA
• Proficiency with Bill of Material (BOM) structures and PLM tools (e.g., Arena, Agile)
• Experience with failure analysis and root cause analysis of CM issues
• Ability to coordinate prototype testing, debugging, and result analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing and Test Engineering
• Familiarity with server systems, motherboards, and PCIe card manufacturing
• Knowledge of SMT process improvement and quality control
• Experience with EE design tools (Cadence, Altium)
• Experience with CAD, Additive Manufacturing, or Solidworks
• Experience with ASIC/silicon development
