NPDI Procurement Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary procurement contact for New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI) projects within the Modular Power Converters product line.
• Own the procurement roadmap for assigned NPDI programs, ensuring alignment with phase-and-gate requirements.
• Drive early supplier engagement to assess technical capability, capacity, cost drivers, and lead times.
• Partner with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to ensure smooth transitions from development to production.
• Execute sourcing strategies, including RFQs/RFPs, to achieve cost targets and supply chain resilience.
• Support prototype, pilot, and pre-production builds to ensure on-time material availability.
• Track and report key metrics such as cost, lead time, and supplier performance.

Requirements

• Experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
• Proven experience supporting engineering-driven programs or new product development.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting global supply chains and multiple manufacturing regions.
• Familiarity with stage-gate or structured product development processes.
• Experience working closely with Engineering teams during early design phases.
