NPDI Planner

Responsibilities

• Review and confirm ship date alignment for NPDI prototypes based on project timelines and milestones
• Track and manage work orders for engineering prototypes, manufacturing prototypes, and pilot runs
• Ensure work order alignment with Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Create Clear to Build analysis for prototype and pre-production builds according to project schedules
• Monitor prototype build status and flag risks or delays to cross-functional teams
• Coordinate material readiness and build capacity for each NPDI phase gate

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical), Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
• 3–6 years of experience in planning or production control within a manufacturing or NPDI environment
• Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems (such as Oracle or SAP) and advanced Excel skills
• Experience managing work orders, BOMs, and production schedules
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and operations
