Nondestructive Test (NDT) Technician - UT & RT

Responsibilities

• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on aerospace products using ultrasonic (UT), eddy current (ET), and radiographic (RT) methods
• Perform setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment to controlled standards
• Analyze routine test, inspection, or statistical data to determine product and process conformity
• Document and communicate test, analysis, and measurement results
• Assist with standard corrective action recommendations and report potential adverse trends
• For experienced roles: develop procedures, provide guidance to trainees, and oversee the acceptance of repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Documented NDT training, experience, or military equivalent (must be available for Level 3 review)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
• U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Ability to pass a vision exam and obtain Boeing NDT certification
• Ability to work in a radiation environment and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, stretch, and lift up to 35 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently hold or previously held Level II NDT certification in Ultrasonic (UT) or Radiography (RT)
• Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
