About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor Non-Revenue Water (NRW) management and hydraulic efficiency
  • Perform continuous NRW diagnostics using night minimum flows, hydraulic sector yields, and pressure analysis
  • Define and track action plans using platforms such as QLIK, NetPlan, SCADA, and GIS
  • Coordinate active leak detection campaigns using acoustic systems, correlators, and geophones
  • Monitor hydraulic efficiency KPIs and propose corrective or preventive measures
  • Coordinate pressure management, sectorization, and dynamic regulation
  • Provide technical support to Operations and other areas regarding hydraulic efficiency studies
  • Drive improvements in sensing, digitalization, and automation of operational decisions

Requirements

  • University degree in Industrial, Civil, Public Works, Agronomic, Telecommunications, or Data Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network operations, NRW management, hydraulic models, or GIS/SCADA
  • Proficiency in Catalan and Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)
  • Availability for field work and occasional work outside regular hours for leak detection campaigns

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in water cycle management, hydraulic efficiency, or digital transformation
  • Specific training in IWA water balance, acoustic leak detection, or Power BI
  • Experience with SCADA, GIS, and digital metering technologies
