Non-Obstetric Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of non-obstetric ultrasound examinations including general abdominal, DVTs, paediatrics, and gynaecology
• Provide clear, accurate reporting and make appropriate referrals when necessary
• Contribute to the delivery of a professional and efficient ultrasound service
• Ensure patient safety, dignity, and comfort throughout all examinations

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Minimum of 6 months’ NHS experience
• Demonstrated competency in general abdominal, DVT, paediatric, and gynaecological ultrasound
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
