About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct non-invasive cardiac tests including ECGs, Holter monitoring, and exercise tolerance tests
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort
- Accurately record test results and collaborate with cardiologists on care plans
- Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment
- Adhere to clinical protocols and participate in quality assurance
- Assist in training junior staff and contribute to departmental policies
- Provide patient education regarding heart health and lifestyle modifications
Requirements
- Degree in Cardiac Physiology or a related field
- HCPC registration
- Previous experience in a non-invasive cardiac diagnostic setting
- Proficiency in ECGs, Holter monitoring, and exercise tolerance tests
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy
