Non-Food and Packaging Auditor

Responsibilities

• Perform audits using specific checklists and protocols on non-food processes and products (e.g., food packaging, cosmetics, hygiene products, toys, cleaning supplies)
• Evaluate compliance with Quality, Safety, and applicable regulations (e.g., ANVISA, ABNT, INMETRO, ISO 9001)
• Prepare clear and objective technical reports
• Validate action plans with suppliers and internal teams
• Stay updated on industry standards, trends, and regulations

Requirements

• Degree or technical training in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Food Science, or related fields
• Proven experience in non-food protocol audits (e.g., IFS Progress PACSecure, ABRAS Non-Food) or ISO 9001
• Knowledge of standards and legislation applicable to products and packaging (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRCGS Packaging, ANVISA/INMETRO resolutions)
• Ability to interpret documents, specifications, and reports
• Availability for travel
• Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with quality management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification in ISO or GFSI standards
• Previous experience in the packaging industry (production, quality, or R&D)
• HACCP or HARA certification
• Knowledge of sustainability requirements for packaging
