Non-Ferrous Receiving Labourer

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and apply established procedures
• Unload, sort, inspect, and handle materials
• Identify and classify non-ferrous metals
• Weigh and organize materials
• Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site
• Work safely in compliance with health and safety (HSE) standards
• Perform any other related tasks associated with operations

Requirements

• Ability to perform manual labour
• Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors
• Good physical condition for repetitive tasks
• Responsible, punctual, and resourceful
• Safety-conscious mindset
• Strong teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment or recycling
• Experience operating a forklift or other equipment
• Knowledge of different types of metals
