Responsibilities

• Perform daily opening and closing activities
• Greet customers and inform them of current metal prices
• Process payments and answer phone calls
• Prepare shipping documents and balance the cash register at the end of the day
• Participate in unloading, sorting, and weighing metals
• Perform data entry using RECY software
• Operate various equipment, including forklifts
• Maintain site cleanliness and perform other related tasks

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Ability to work outdoors in hot or cold temperatures
• Ability to sort metals on tables or on the ground

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of metal recycling
• Experience operating a forklift
