Responsibilities

• Provide an independent perspective on company activities to enhance decision-making
• Advise Senior Management on enabling further development of the company in Malta
• Maintain a constructive working relationship with Senior Management
• Exercise independent judgement and constructively challenge executive decisions

Requirements

• Must be located in Malta
• Minimum 10 years' experience in financial services, investment banking, or a closely related field
• Strong knowledge of financial products and services
• Essential prior ESG or sustainability experience
• Demonstrable understanding of board governance, fiduciary duties and senior-level leadership
• Familiarity with Malta's financial, regulatory or business environment is an advantage

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to articulate complex issues clearly and diplomatically
• High level of integrity and personal accountability
