Non-CDL Spotter

Responsibilities

• Attach drive unit to trailers to move them to and from dock doors for loading and unloading
• Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition
• Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks
• Drive, transport, and spot trailers at appropriate loading docks or staging areas
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
• High school education or equivalent
• Ability to operate power industrial equipment
• Experience using MS Office computer applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Ability to work independently and follow all safety procedures and policies
