Non CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive a Non-CDL vehicle safely while transporting freight between terminals
• Load and unload vehicles, either independently or with the assistance of dockworkers
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of freight
• Secure freight using strapping or other appropriate methods
• Inspect vehicles for defects and ensure safe operating conditions per company policy and law
• Comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for commercial motor vehicle operation

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUI/OWI or Reckless Driving convictions within the last 5 years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and functional screen
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs and perform frequent physical tasks
• Ability to read and write English and perform simple mathematical calculations

• Competitive pay: $25.73/hr starting, increasing to $28.37/hr after the first year
