Non-CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks safely during winter storms to keep Virginia roads clear
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety rules at all times
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues immediately
• Communicate with Route Manager or Dispatch about unsafe situations or service needs
• Participate in required safety meetings and training sessions
• Assist other drivers or routes as needed during snow events

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (no serious violations or multiple accidents in past 5 years)
• Must be 18 or older
• Pass DOT drug screen and MVR review
• Willingness to travel to snow locations and stay for the duration of events
• Attend 8-hour in-person snow training before season starts
• Prior snowplow experience helpful but not required
