About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (Hapi.js/Express.js)
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work with PostgreSQL for data storage and optimization
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams
- Maintain high code quality via unit testing, reviews, and best practices
- Handle version control using Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience in Node.js development
- Strong experience in Node.js, Hapi.js, and Express.js
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD using Jenkins
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure platforms
