Node.js Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
• Manage SQL databases including schema design, optimization, and complex queries
• Collaborate with frontend developers to define and ship new features
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code using unit and integration tests
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize systems for speed and scalability
• Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional backend development experience using Node.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the NestJS framework
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
