About the role
Responsibilities
- Build scalable backend APIs using Node.js
- Write and implement test automation scripts using Playwright or Selenium
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for testing and deployment processes
- Debug and resolve complex backend and browser-based issues
- Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and DevOps teams to ensure software quality
Requirements
- 5-10 years of professional experience in software development or testing
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium
- Familiarity with testing libraries including Jest, Mocha, or Chai
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous functions, and Git version control
- Ability to relocate to Chennai
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization using Docker
- Knowledge of cloud services, specifically AWS
- Experience with frontend automation techniques
