About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify, classify, and prioritize incidents affecting the Bandwidth network
  • Create and maintain trouble tickets with service providers and internal teams to drive resolution
  • Perform tasks associated with resolving high-priority incidents, including coordinating troubleshooting bridges
  • Take ownership of incidents and perform escalations where required
  • Troubleshoot VoIP calls at the SIP level
  • Follow established processes and procedures provided by senior NOC personnel
  • Note: This is a 3rd shift position (11pm - 9am EST, Wednesday - Sunday)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a network operations environment
  • Understanding of carrier-level VoIP-based technologies
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and prioritize tasks while multi-tasking
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility to work additional shifts when required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 or 4-year technical degree
  • Experience working in a highly technical environment
  • Relevant technical industry certifications
