About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute preventive and corrective actions on network links and equipment for both new and operational branches to ensure service availability.
- Proactively monitor network health using established tools to address incidents and user requests via ticketing systems.
- Ensure the correct connection and operation of IP telephony, UTM, Switches, and Access Points to maintain operational continuity.
- Document all incidents and requests in the ticketing system, maintaining evidence of response times and follow-up to improve resolution processes.
- Report and manage incidents with communication service providers, following up until full resolution is achieved.
- Collaborate with various IT departments to provide necessary information and support for optimal branch functionality.
Requirements
- Technical degree or partially completed Bachelor's degree in Networks, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in similar NOC or network support roles.
- Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, Switching, Routing, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience managing internet services and carriers.
- Basic English language skills.
