About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive monitoring and management of the TNS payments network
- Monitor the health of customer network connectivity and performance
- Log all service incidents in the incident management system
- Manage assigned tickets through to resolution, providing timely updates and escalations
- Collaborate with internal technical support groups and third-party organizations to resolve incidents
- Perform post-incident impact analysis and support
- Maintain clear, consistent, and regular communication with internal and external customers
- Support change management activities across TNS and partner networks
Requirements
- Experience in a Technical Support or Network Operations environment
- Experience using ticketing systems for fault tracking, such as Remedy or Salesforce
- Knowledge of IP networking and WAN network protocols
- Knowledge of DSL, Wireless, and Ethernet circuit technologies
- Understanding of GPRS, LTE, and VPN technologies
- Analytical approach to fault-finding with the ability to diagnose network problems
- Strong organizational, time management, and ability to work under pressure
- Professional attitude with effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the ITIL framework or ITIL foundation certification
- Experience with Cisco, Digi, Virtual Access, Linux, IPSEC, or VPN hardware and protocols
- Experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGates and FortiSwitches
- Understanding of SD-WAN solutions and cloud-based platforms such as AWS and Azure
