NOC Lead

Responsibilities

• Own all P1/P2 incidents from detection to resolution, leading the bridge and stakeholder communications
• Perform hands-on network engineering including BGP/static routing, circuit turn-up, and WAN failover testing
• Administer FortiGate firewalls, including policy creation, NAT, and IPS/IDS tuning
• Manage switching via VLAN, trunking, STP, and L2/L3 routing on Cisco Nexus and ProCurve platforms
• Conduct CLI-level fault isolation using Wireshark and tcpdump
• Maintain infrastructure across remote sites, including GCP environments and NetBox IPAM
• Enforce change management protocols and manage network automation tools
• Onboard and mentor the NOC Engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years in network operations, NOC, or infrastructure engineering
• Proven experience leading critical P1/P2 production incidents
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls and Cisco Nexus/ProCurve switching
• Proficiency with WAN circuits, BGP peering, and OpenVPN/IPsec tunnels
• Experience with monitoring stacks such as Zabbix, LibreNMS, Grafana, or PagerDuty
• Working knowledge of GCP infrastructure and Terraform

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MSP transitions or in-housing operations
• Experience building NOC SOPs from scratch
