About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor production sites using Zabbix, LibreNMS, Grafana, and Graylog
- Triage and resolve P3/P4 infrastructure incidents using runbooks
- Escalate P1/P2 events to the NOC Lead within 15–30 minutes
- Monitor network health across WAN, FortiGate firewalls, Cisco switching, and Proxmox edge
- Maintain NetBox IPAM accuracy and ISP account registers
- Execute Starlink account operations and assist with site inventory audits
- Handle approved maintenance window changes and VPN user provisioning
- Deliver shift handover reports in Jira and draft knowledge-base articles
Requirements
- 3+ years in a NOC or infrastructure support role
- Solid grasp of VLANs, DHCP, DNS, HSRP, routing, switching, and firewalls
- Familiarity with monitoring platforms like Zabbix, LibreNMS, or PRTG
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira
- Ability to participate in Tier 2 on-call escalations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FortiGate firewalls and OpenVPN
- Knowledge of GCP/Cloud networking
- Experience with NetBox IPAM or Proxmox virtualization
- Experience in high-density compute environments
