NOC Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms using tools like New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, or GCP Monitoring
• Perform real-time alert triage, validation, and troubleshooting to restore services quickly
• Act as the first responder for incidents to ensure minimal downtime
• Manage high-priority incidents (P1/P2), drive incident bridges, and coordinate with SRE, CloudOps, Network, and Security teams
• Execute runbooks and SOPs for standard incidents and operational tasks
• Perform routine health checks on servers, networks, and failover systems
• Monitor systems during maintenance windows and validate post-change stability
• Maintain accurate incident records in Jira or ServiceNow
• Identify potential security-related anomalies and escalate to SOC teams

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in NOC, Infrastructure Monitoring, Cloud Operations, or SOC
• Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Experience with cloud monitoring (AWS or GCP)
• Knowledge of cloud environments, application availability, and performance
• Understanding of On-Prem, Cloud Infra, VMs, EC2 Instances, and EKS Clusters
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols
• Familiarity with firewalls and security principles
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, 24/7 operations environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise or SaaS environments
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Google Associate Cloud Engineer
• CompTIA Cloud+
• ITIL V4 or V5
• CCNA
