NOC Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Monitor network devices, servers, and services through NOC monitoring tools
• Proactively identify network issues, service disruptions, and outages
• Respond to and resolve network alarms, alerts, and incidents
• Provide first-level troubleshooting for network hardware, software, and connectivity
• Maintain detailed incident logs and troubleshooting documentation
• Collaborate with Systems, Security, and Infrastructure teams
• Assist in scheduled maintenance and network upgrades

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in IT or Network Engineering preferred)
• 0-2 years of experience in network monitoring or IT support
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching
• Understanding of routers, switches, and firewalls
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Proficiency with networking tools like ping and traceroute
• Ability to work shift-based schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG
• Experience with MikroTik or Ruckus
• Experience with managed WiFi networks
• CompTIA Network+ or similar certification
• Familiarity with cloud networking
