Night Warehouseman

Responsibilities

• Manage shipping and receiving processes, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute items to H&P personnel
• Follow strict inventory control procedures and policies to maintain accuracy
• Perform regular inventories and submit detailed inventory reports
• Assist in maintaining the security, condition, and administration of warehouses and yards
• Coordinate the movement of materials and assist with customs clearing for international returns
• Load and unload all materials using appropriate equipment
• Handle administrative tasks including phone calls, mail, typing, and copying
• Maintain office equipment and company vehicles

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ months of related experience and/or training in warehousing
• Forklift certification and ability to operate aerial work platforms
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of defensive driving and warehousing practices
• Proficiency with PC applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to learn and utilize Oracle systems
• Strong written and oral communication skills
