The Experimental Chalet Val d’Isère is a new 4-star winter paradise in the French Alps featuring 113 rooms, two restaurants, a cocktail bar, and a spa.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personalized guest reception during arrivals and departures
• Anticipate guest needs to guarantee a high-end experience
• Manage delicate situations and resolve guest issues during the night
• Coordinate and supervise night teams including reception, security, and room service
• Manage last-minute reservations and optimize room occupancy
• Perform accounting closures and ensure accurate billing and collections
• Maintain establishment and guest security by applying current protocols
• Manage incidents or emergencies and liaise with security and emergency services
• Control and apply internal hotel procedures regarding safety and hygiene
• Provide accurate night event reporting to management and day teams
• Supervise the smooth handover of instructions between day and night shifts
• Propose improvements to optimize guest experience and night operations efficiency

Requirements

• Experience in high-end hotel reception
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
• Proficiency in IT tools and hotel management software (PMS)
• Ability to manage unforeseen events and make quick decisions
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Mandatory fluency in English; a third language is a plus
