About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise young people during waking night shifts in a residential setting
  • Support individuals with behaviours that challenge
  • Administer medication as required by student needs
  • Undertake essential household tasks including cooking, cleaning, and laundry while residents are asleep
  • Maintain accurate reports and records

Requirements

  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • A patient, caring, and compassionate child-centered approach
  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to provide personal care and administer medication
  • Resilience and the ability to react calmly in challenging situations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a residential setting
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
