Night Driver Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-shift readiness of drivers and vehicles to ensure accurate and timely deliveries
• Manage fleet logistics including vehicle maintenance scheduling and issue reporting
• Ensure all assets such as vehicles, fuel cards, and phones are properly signed in and out
• Oversee van readiness and staging for loadout operations
• Verify delivery audits and ensure correct products are loaded onto correct routes
• Monitor delivery performance and productivity metrics in real time
• Investigate delivery success issues and implement solutions to prevent recurring problems
• Serve as a backup driver to cover callouts and maintain route coverage

Requirements

• Experience in last-mile delivery operations, logistics, or a related field
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends
• Familiarity with driver/delivery safety and performance metrics
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and product auditing procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Excellent communication skills
