NICU Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to critical newborn NICU patients in a Level III facility
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized, goal-directed nursing care
• Perform patient assessments, treatment planning, and medical care evaluations
• Transcribe and implement provider orders and treatments accurately
• Document all patient encounters according to organizational standards
• Provide instruction and education to patients and families regarding medical needs
• Maintain nursing standards of care and respond to changing patient conditions

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in a NICU setting
• RQI Provider (BLS) certification required within 7 days of hire
• NRP certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• STABLE certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire
• Ability to work a full-time schedule for no less than a 13-week period
